What The Daily Java Provides : To Architects & Contractors
Start To Finish Consulting
One of the benefits of working with The Daily Java for architects is we do not charge them or the church any money for our consultations. We work hand and hand with the architect to make them look good and to make sure the church is successful. Often we are introduced to the church so we can understand their vision for the café, the demographics of the church and their idea location. From there, we are able to work with the architect to make sure they have the right equipment, flow, electrical and plumbing in place before building; thus saving the church a lot money. Once we have established the plans and the architect and church are happy, we often get hired to take the project all the way home by working directly with the church on our 25 Points to Success Plan. This includes menu pricing, recipes, the right cups you need to use and many other items that we have discovered to be important to the success of a church café. We ask all our churches to sign an agreement with a $2,000 deposit that will go towards the equipment of the café, thus costing the church no money in consulting. Our goal is to set-up successful cafes for churches all across America.
Flow And Layout Design
Flow and Layout design are probably the most important parts of a “Quick Hit” café. We call church cafes, Quick Hit Cafes because the crowds usually all come at once. Starbucks has never seen a line like a well design and run church café will have. Thus it is important not to set up a café like a Starbucks, it will not work. A well design café has a proper flow to make sure customers are moved through the line quickly and the product they receive is superior.
Demographic Assessment
There is not just one design or equipment package for all churches. Understanding the churches demographics, both current and future vision, dictates the proper equipment and products they will need to succeed. T
Equipment And Products
Proper equipment and products are another key to a successful café. Rarely does a church café need an expensive piece of equipment, but it is important to get equipment that will last and not be a service nightmare. We understand that churches have to be financially responsible with their money. Our layouts and equipment selections are designed to provide current and long term growth without breaking the bank. More importantly, we know what equipment NOT to put in a café, saving the church money.
Menu Development
We also work with churches to make sure they have the right menu from prices, cup sizes and the products to offer (and not offer). We provide a large selection of products to make sure your church has the products that best fit your community, including Coffee with a Purpose, all natural smoothies, quality Frappes and more. We walk the churches through the idea menu for them to make sure they are successful.
Training And Installation
We set all our churches up on a project management tool to make sure they have all the information they need in one place and so we can all work together with the general contractor in one place with all the data. Once we near the end of the project, we are able to provide another one of our key resources; our training and basic installation programs. Our Basic installation package includes the basic installation of most of our equipment and more importantly, the troubleshooting and programming of the equipment to make sure it is ready to operate. Often, we also provide our training programs on the same trip as our installation program. We offer both an operations training and a volunteer’s training. Our Operation’s Training goes over the key items to run a successful café, including the cafes vision, daily operations, volunteer positions, how to build a team, recipes and more. Our Volunteer’s Training program takes your volunteer through each piece of equipment where they learn to make drinks, learn the products and understand the vision of the café. By the end of the training, they will be able to make drinks better than their local Starbucks.
